A great success

Ms. Frei checked out our contract, and was pleased with it, Primo did not make it in time, because he had driving lessons. In future, he will note down all schedeuls, so that this doesn't happen in future.

Our first step, after the meeting, is writing down questionnaires for interviewing people and looking for the right people to interview. Ken started to search for interviewable partners on various websites. Lirim has already noted down a few questions for the questionnaire while Primo is looking for some politicians or possible experts related to our field.

One important point in our contract is the interview with the Economiesuisse. Jochanan is already contacting Dr. Schnell, while Primo and Lirim are trying to set a date for the first survey.

Discussing our provisional contract

The three of us discussed the contract we've made together with Ms. Frei, we feel that she was generally pleased with our concept, but wanted us to go more into detail. Our main problem was, not being sure in what language we would do this project in.

After the 20 minute talk we had to face the decision if we wanted to make a brochure in German or a scientific paper in English. As immersion students we of course picked the more challenging idea: The scientific paper. Primo started to work on the blog while Lirim and Ken focussed on re-doing the contract to show Ms. Frei next week, with more in-depth explanations and time management plans.
Lirim and Jochanan wrote the discribtion and decided a title for our project while Primo started the blog and chose a layout fitting to our topic.

Getting started

Today Lirim, Ken and Primo, we, discussed what we wanted to write in our contract, so we focused on those two crucial points: What do we want to find out, and how. After some discussions and several new points of view we decided on our main question: Is it actually worth going grocery shopping in Germany? How much do you save per shopping spree? And how did the removal of the minimum exchange rate change the situation?

After discussing the topics for a while we noted all important things in our contract, which we are ready to show next week. Since this is our first contract in such a way, we don't have any experience and hope that our supervisor, Ms. Frei, can give us some advice or even a better idea of how getting what we really want.
